Daily Deviation Suggestion Preferences

The ability to feature my favorite fractals and fractalists sitewide through the Daily Deviation feature was one of the things that drew me to volunteer for GM. I won't lie, it's what I was looking forward to most. I know what an amazing boost in confidence and visibility getting my own DD's gave me and I am still extremely grateful to the GM's who saw something special in my work.

I browse deviantART every day, especially the fractal galleries, and I see special work often that I want to share with the world. But I can't be everywhere, see everything. I rely on you, the fractal art community, to see technical perfection and incredible skill in your fellow fractalists. I rely on you, the larger dA community, even if you're not sure what fractals are or what draws you to a piece; to find that indescribable something of beauty or meaning. You guys are everywhere I'm not, your ten thousand (plus) eyes are watching, seeking, learning and delighting in work that you find every day.

So please, take a moment, copy and paste that thumbcode in a note to me. Share with me what moves you! Here are some suggestions to get you started. I won't ignore your note if you don't conform to my preferences, but it might get pushed aside for awhile for things that are more compliant. So make it easier on both of us and check these guidelines. They will remain in my journal box, and a briefer version is also in my devID spot on my profile page.



I'm taking care of only the Fractal Art Gallery, comprising Raw Fractals, Fractal Manipulations, and Fractal Animations. If the piece you are loving is a fractal in the Wallpaper Gallery, please suggest it to Casperium instead. If the artwork you're loving is a fractal in the resource gallery, as in, a tutorial or stock fractal, please suggest it to FantasyStock or shelldevil instead.

The official dA rule for Daily Deviations is that the deviant has not had a DD within the last three months. Please keep in mind when suggesting that I personally prefer they haven't had one in the last 9 months to a year.

You can check when a deviant last had a DD by typing in /dds after their regular dA web address. This will bring up a page with their DDs or come up blank if they haven't received one yet.

I prefer not to feature pieces that are older than the deviant's last DD. Please try to choose something that represents their current style and skill level.

When you note me about DD's, please use subject line "DD Suggestion"; if it is labeled anything else it will get lost in my notebox.

Please keep it down to three suggestions per note. Also, don't just send me to someone's whole gallery. Show me one or more that YOU love.

Don't forget to put the thumbnails of the pieces you're suggesting in the note! On the right hand side under the deviation, you will notice a box with 'Thumb' above it. Copy the code which is in the box and paste that into your note. This gives me an idea of what you're talking about and a link to the bigger piece.
